- Do the Flea Flicker products interfere with the spot-on treatments I use with my dogs?
- No, the Flea Flicker products do not interfere with the spot-on treatments for your dogs. They give an extra layer of protection. Please note that Pet Escentials does not recommend you use spot-on flea treatments with your dog, due to the harmful systemic pesticides they release.
- Why do the labels for Pet Escentials dog products say not to use them for cats?
- The Pet Escentials dog product line contains essential oils, which are treated like toxins by a cat’s liver. Hydrosols, a by-product of the distillation of essential oils, are used in the cat product line, and are safe for cats.
- Does the Flea Flicker Line really work?
- Yes! The peppermint in the products stops a neurotransmitter in the fleas, short-circuiting their nervous system and causing them to die.
- Why do your products say natural rather than organic?
- Pet Escentials products are not 100% organic. I use as many certified organic ingredients as I can. The clinical grade essential oils are sourced from all over the world and each country has different standards for organic certification. Therefore to have the highest integrity, the products cannot be labeled as organic.
- Do you make more products than those available on the website?
- Yes, I make products specific to certain animals’ needs. This would require a consultation and a special order over the phone.
- Do you make products for horses?
- Yes, most of our products for dogs can be used on horses. Orders for horses would be shipped in a larger size, such as a one-gallon bottle for the shampoo. Please call for specific sizes and pricing.
